Writing #1: My Mother

My mother taught me the value of love in many ways. First, she taught me how important trust is in a loving relationship. I could always count on my mother to keep her word, and she trusted me to be honest and to make my own decisions. Second, my mother showed her affection by doing small things for us. She used to wash my family's clothes and cook for us. Finally, my mother taught me that love is the most important part of life and that without it, enjoying life is difficult no matter how much success or wealth I have. Because my mother taught me so many things about love, love is central to my life.
